Spatial Reasoning, 2025
Spatial Reasoning began with a simple idea: constructing a partition screen using only geometric shapes and primary colors. What unfolded was a process deeply rooted in play and instinct, echoing the childhood act of building with blocks: stacking, toppling, rebalancing, and adjusting with each new idea. As I worked, the piece reflected my internal logic, how I organize, reframe, and navigate abstract problems visually.
This work maps the way my neurodivergent mind approaches creative problem-solving. I often think in shapes and systems, building connections through trial, repetition, and reconfiguration. Rather than following a linear plan, I engage with materials like a puzzle, finding the right visual language to bring clarity to a concept.
